This brought back a flood of memories. My sweet malamute lived on the edge of a 4-ft chain 24/7 until animal control seized him from his POS owner. He was sitting on death row in a tiny shelter when he was miraculously saved a day before he would have been put down. He was a bag of bones when I first saw him yet he wouldn’t stop smiling and wagging his tail. He filled out into this magnificent traffic-stopping beast and we  had 9 wonderful years before he died due to arthritis. The casual cruelty humans are capable of never ceases to boggle my mind.[/quote]
