I tend to forget I have it on. I am sure people see me outdoors with it or whatever. Most of the time I have left a store and forgot I was wearing it. I eat indoors and go about my life, but I don't really notice my mask.

I did not read OP’s post as from someone who “freaks out and panics”. I do read it as from someone concerned about this area’s inability to get back to normal life, which is a legitimate concern both at a policy and a personal level. If a lot of your friends continue to be hyper cautious, it will affect your social life. Outdoor masks are one indicator of a hyper cautious attitude that everyone can monitor, even if not all instances are indicative of hyper cautiousness.[/quote]

Yup, that's exactly what it is.  They wait for this thread to grow and politicize the "issue" that doesn't exist.  Same argument that goes over and over, and when someone points this out, they conveniently ignore it.  Folks, don't bite on these types of posts.[/quote]

The issue of hyper Covid cautiousness very much does exist in this area. It’s what closed schools for 1.5 years and still gives us overly restrictive quarantine policies.[/quote]
