Most people are vaccinated so your vaccine comment is silly.  Of course its not over for many of us and reality is these folks will be catching it soon enough as being vaccinated isn't enough as they vaccines reduce symptoms and lesson the risks but don't stop covid.  [/quote]

Surely you understand masks kind of suck. When they're not providing much help, of course there's going to be interest in dropping them.

And yes, it doe appear the most fervent antimaskers are also antivaxxers. But similar, the most fervent pro-maskers and pro-vaxxers are hypochondriacs that do not understand how to assess risks. But then there's a much more reasonable group in the middle that can handle nuance. But if the people you know have figured out you fall into one of those extreme wings, they're probably not going to get into it with you.[/quote]

Where is your data saying they don't help when there is a lot of data, especially in schools that it does help.

Ranting about people not wanting to take the vaccine is silly.  We live in a country of free choice.  No one knows the long term impact of these vaccines as they were quickly studied and given out of necessity.  I cannot blame anyone for taking them.  Masks are a very simple precaution.  Very simple.  Giving up and saying lets get covid and its no big deal isn't that simple.  We need to get covid under control as it keep mutating and people are still dying and getting very sick.

You are truly selfish and a covid denier if you refuse to do something as basic as wear a mask.[/quote]
