[/quote] Seems like you are the PP that is doing the deflecting. Churchill got lucky when the student with a weapon didn’t use the weapon. How many people would have been hurt if it takes the Montgomery County Police Department 20 minutes to respond to 911 calls? SROs is a program that disperses police officers throughout the community. An SRO at Churchill can quickly respond to any incident within the cluster schools or the general neighborhood. They can leave campus to respond to other calls when needed. Also, getting rid of SROs doesn’t get rid of bad police officers. Montgomery County will only improve the officers on duty by investing in training. That is needed no matter where police are assigned.[/quote]
