I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying you should be able to find a single left-of-center source advocating sending kids (particularly high school kids) to school early rather than later. Other things that are complicated and have failed in the past: a humane health-care system; lead abatement in low-income housing. You can probably think of dozens more. Conservatives and reactionaries can always think of reasons not to do the right thing even in the face of overwhelming evidence it's the right thing to do, that's why they're called "conservatives."[/quote]
