Oh great, let's do another 20 pages about the same argument we've already had over and over again. The WTU was against a mandate that was not negotiated. They did actually negotiate the first mandate and their position regarding the second is that it should also have been negotiated.

This is a little bit like opposing affirmative action and trying to argue that, it's not because you hate black people, it's because no one negotiated the details of how affirmative action would work with you. Almost 700,000 Americans have died from coronavirus. Maybe WTU should get over themselves and back a vaccine mandate because it's a public health emergency. [/quote]

I assume that you cannot support your earlier assertions since you have resorted to changing the subject. You claimed that the WTU was the reason the first mandate had a testing option. When I demonstrated that the facts do not support you, you claimed that the WTU had repeatedly publicly opposed a mandate. When I asked for an example, you started talking about affirmative action.

Object to the WTU's desire to address issues affecting its membership all you want. But, don't make false claims that you cannot support.

Also, hey Jeff, remember when you said only people with "authoritarian tendencies" believed teacher should be required to get vaccinated? And remember when you said that "realistically we can't get better than" asking teachers to either get vaccinated or be tested? (See your posts from Aug. 10). Heh. Good times. I think you should totally hijack this thread with more of your nutty views on coronavirus that are somehow always invariably pro-WTU. No wonder people think you're on their payroll.
