Ecnl-r > GAL
GA is not as good as ECNL but stop with this silliness of ECNL-R being a top league in any way shape or form. As ECNL and GA both continue to expand it is simply a race to the bottom.
I disagree. The mid Atlantic ecnl-r teams would do well in the GAL mid Atlantic.
Well arlington was average to above average in GA but you think their 2nd team would do well in Ga? Does not make sense unless you think there is little difference between their teams?
Arlington was well above average in most age groups. Their second teams would likely be below average, but still be in line with the competition. That's probably about where they will finish in ECNL-RL also. ECNL-RL may be a bit more top heavy in most age groups, but its the best league at U11 and U12 and starting at U13 there are probably 6 teams at most age groups that can hang with anyone in GA. Plenty of those clubs could have joined GA but didn't want to because of the travel schedule and not much better competition.
No it was a mixed bag for Arlington in GA. Same for their second teams in the CCL. Those second teams would have struggled in the GA. Second teams lack the 2-4 top players that make a difference in games. Some of the CCL teams did beat Arlington’s GA teams. Arlington because of their large pool of players always does well in the u littles(u9-u12/u13) but the u littles really do not matter. You have to develop and recruit player in the ECNL. ECNL will be a big step up not so much in this area(ie play the same old clubs) but when you play outside this area.
