That was my takeaway, and I’m not OP. I would ignore it, totally. Vaccinated people don’t quarantine.
Both friends sons have to miss the first week of classes due to a positive test result of a teammate. Both are also vaccinated but had rapid tests come back negative as well as PCR tests that came back negative. My friend and her husband, also fully vaccinated, were told to quarantine for 14 days as well. These were instructions issued by the county health department to them once contacted after the school was notified of the positive result.
23:29 here. So by that example, even thought we are vaccinated my DW would have to quarantine because a colleague of hers tested positive and then I would have to quarantine because I live with my DW.
So basically the exact same quarantining rules we had at the beginning in 2020? Even though we did as requested and got vaccinated. I'm just OVER all of the unvaccinated (by choice) people in the US. I honestly don't think we'll ever be free of covid here.
FWIW, a parent of a high school athlete incorrectly told to quarantine complained to student services and health services in FCPS. They undid the quarantine. So vaccinated staff and students, if told to quarantine without symptoms you should complain, complain, complain. It's NOT policy.
