I’m with the pp who suggested Sherborn.you could get a little bit of land. If I’m not mistaken each lot has to be in several acres. You’d still get a community through the excellent public schools.  Not sure about now but it used to have a very New England  old money vibe.[/quote]

Natick is a weird pocket of quasi-affordability amid very expensive towns. I don't know why. Maybe the school system isn't as prestigious as those in other towns. IDK. Lots of people who can't afford Wellesley and really, who can? move there.[/quote]

Like in many areas of the country, the wealthy places further out have not appreciated as much, relatively speaking, as the wealthy places closer in. Sherborn is not that far as the crow flies but would be a difficult commute. Most people now want denser places closer in.[/quote]
