I own a SFH, with a big yard, in DC, and know that is a privilege. But to be honest, lockdowns were not that bad and kind of nice for DH and I. Am I alone on this view?
There is nothing stopping you from staying in your own personal lockdown. Let us live our lives!
The problem with letting idiots “live their lives” is that you spread virus around everywhere, killing people, while out there living your life. My health, safety and life are more important than you being allowed to go to Starbucks.
Nailed it.
Did they? They decided that your freedoms are less important than theirs. If you quarantine at home, that's your business. You don't have a right to force everyone else to do so as well.
NP... Woah. NO. If the irresponsible and selfish behavior of other people is causing the pandemic to spread and drag on then that is taking away our freedoms and damn well IS our business and DOES give us the right to start imposing things on them to try and rein the pandemic in. Clearly you haven't thought about this from anyone's perspective other than your own selfish, irresponsible one.
Wait. I got this message yesterday in my Twitter notifications: If this is the case, as CDC says it is..... 1. Why do you care who is vaccinated and who isn't? Seems as if both vaccinated and unvaccinated are capable of spreading the virus. 2. Why do you believe an unvaccinated person is irresponsible and selfish and endangering the public anymore than a vaccinated person? Isn't it all about personal choice and risk assessment at this point?
Really? The vaccine works. This means 90-97% of the vaccines people do not get it. It is spreading among the unvaccinated. The country did not reach herd immunity because of people like you. The unvaccinated are the problem and reason another lockdown and mask wearing are coming back.
Did you not see the CDC announcement? How can you say it is spreading among the unvaccinated with this announcement? And, what are "people like me?"
