Because it *is* NBD. It’s a penny-ante street robbery. Something like that probably happens a dozen times a day in DC. You don’t hear about it because it’s ….. wait for it …….. No Big Deal.

A much better solution is dismantling the structural racism that forces young men into committing crimes of opportunity because they have no other options. And as a younger white person, I’m not going to shed any tears for an old white person having their phone taken because they belong to a generation that perpetuated the racist systems we’re dealing with now. They made their beds, they can sleep in them. [/quote]
