He could also just put up a fence. This guy just wants to get into a fight. He is making it a bigger issue.
Someone would complain about the fence, and say “he could’ve gotten these harmless plastic spikes instead”
+1 Exactly. Spoiled complainers who like drama, is all. Cue the resident Mean Girl to direct all neighborhood dog owners to that property, because that is her current purpose in life.
Oh please. This guy is a reactive jerk. I think that's what's true here - if HE put up a fence, he'd probably also stand there screaming while anyone walked by. So yeah when you're a jerk to the world, the world delivers it right back.
Disagree. If you look at his house, I would say he is the type of fellow who doesn't have time for their shenanigans.
But if you look at his actions--i.e. sign and the spikes, he apparently DOES have time for shenanigans.
If nothing, he is resourceful. Don't know where anyone got the idea he was yelling at people? Maybe he was, I don't live there, I have no idea. But I do know that if the opposing neighbors make him out to be the bad guy, then they see that as their victory. I have seen it in my own neighborhood. People generally don't get involved in the drama - IF they are good neighbors and genuinely good people - but you would be surprised at how some people, especially if they are the territorial type, act. Grown adults can really be bullies, sometimes for no reason other than having to be right. Again, I don't live there, so I have no idea.
