We’ve covered this many times.

Back in Feb/Mar in the US we had 1/3rd schools completely virtual, 1/3rd offering hybrid, and 1/3rd offering full-time.

APS had a reasonable approach, taken by many other school systems in the country. And when opening schools, APS followed CDC guidelines on distancing (in overcrowded schools) which resulted in hybrid. Also very reasonable. 
 
Schools are open. Will 5 days this fall. Time to move on.

Yes, if you can get past your hysterics, you'll recognize that APS made reasonable decisions along the way - similar decisions to MANY other school systems. I know some kids who didn't go in for hybrid until *after* APS kids went back.

Stop the false narrative that APS did anything "wrong". Maybe you wish they took a different approach, but it was certainly very reasonable in the circumstances.

The decision to do all-DL and then a gradual return to hybrid fell within the range of what is considered reasonable in the circumstances.  That should probably be settled.  It is also not unreasonable for concerned parents to criticize how APS delivered DL and other matters.[/quote]

Absolutely. There were certainly issues with DL. And most importantly I want to hear the robust plan for remediation for the fall.

I’m glad they have the app for all kids this summer. Not ideal but a eems like the best they could do with limited staffing.

I do want them to be more transparent with how they spend covid money. Was that efficiently used? More we can do with that - in preparation for fall?
