Who are you to judge? People HAVE to work. Unless they're running their own businesses or become partners in some firm, they have to abide by decisions made by those in the upper echelon. My husband and I both WOH, too but b/c I'm PT, I take on more of the childcare duties. However, we don't see our children in the morning b/c of early work hours. So we have a nanny for before care. We eat dinner together on most nights, but there are times when my husband arrives home closer to 10 b/c of "other duties as assigned." Do you expect him to tell his boss to F off b/c he's missing a meal with his family? His check helps to pay for those meals. So you need to get off your high horse. Your condescending tone stems from ignorance. Just remember that MOST people are one paycheck away from being homeless.
No wonder our divorce rate is so high. Where is everyone's PRIORITIES? Children and family should come first, work second. Easier said than done, but if someone's in a white-collar job I don't understand by that flexibility can't be achieved, ESPECIALLY in this day and age of technology and telework-capabilities. Maybe I'm biased, given that we all have breakfast and dinner together (and we both WOHM), but something is just wrong with our society if moms/dads are having to take care of their children solo while their spouses are working ungodly hours. I just don't get it...

But I doubt your statement applies to most of the women posting (and complaining) here. No, most of the posters are all too happy to put up with an absent husband, so they can have the expensive cars, designer purses, 2000+sq ft houses, and fancy vacations. And bragging rights.
Sadly, PP, you're probably right!
