I am not the poster of the picture.  However I will point out you are saying "respect my ability to state what I believe, but I do not have to allow you the same respect".

When you truly know something as well as you can, you don't take offense when someone states the opposite.  You just think they are wrong.  Example: flat-earthers.  Would you respond to a flat-earther with "kindness and emotional maturity"?  Especially if they had elected officials trying to legislate teaching flat-earth theories in your kid's classroom?

There’s nothing to do with legislative issues in a photo mocking a Christian child and Muslim child. It just shows the disregard and intolerance of the person  who posted it.
