Yep. And she was pregnant with his child at the same time but miscarried. So decided to steal the living child. It was a whole series of court cases. Bode and Megan filed for emergency custody (citing that the real mother was constantly working - she was a firefighter/EMT) and they got custody of a newborn for THREE MONTHS. Three months in which they changed his name. His mother had to wait that whole time for a New York judge to reverse the decision and get her baby back.[/quote]

This a summary in her own words. At the time it was a big deal because she essentially lost custody of her son for moving to a different state while pregnant. Bode Miller used every sleazy trick in the book to try to deny her custody.
