If I got my second dose yesterday, do I have to wait until June 1st to go maskless since that's two weeks from the final dose or can I go maskless on the 28th? As I'm reading it, they're "removing all restrictions" on the 28th which seems to imply that I'm not required to wear a mask even though there's still several days left until I hit two weeks.
Yes.
That's sort of like asking if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Of course it does, but how would anyone know? And why does it matter? The mask requirement is effectively gone for adults right now, but yes, technically you're supposed to wait until 2 weeks after the last dose. Come May 28th, the mask requirement goes away for everyone- vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals.
Because they're not fully vaccinated yet, so they should wear a mask to protect themselves and others.
Clearly you haven't actually looked at the data on the efficacy of the vaccines two weeks after the first dose. If the J&J vaccines counts at all, then certainly one dose of Pfizer/Moderna should count.
