The lady in the park in San Francisco was supposedly extremely autistic but I didn't see any sympathy for her. But, of course, as soon as it's a man....
let's be specific.. a white man. If he is clueless about these things then he's impaired enough for his family members to make sure he is not out on his own. He might do something like not follow a cop's direction, runaway thinking to the cop has cooties or something and get shot.
...or he should be in a supervised living situation. But yeah-if you are impaired enough to not be accountable for your actions (for whatever reason), you are impaired enough to have your activities restricted.
It’s not that he shouldn’t be held accountable. It’s that the social media machine needs to calm down and realize this isn’t some scenario where a white supremacist set out to steal from and target an Asian person.
how do you know he is not a white supremacist?
Because he appears moderate-severely autistic to me. He looks confused and overwhelmed, and like he's having trouble verbalizing. The media is playing this like it's some Richard Spence wannabe who set out to dine and ditch and attack and Asian old lady.
