The parents' responsibility is to make sure the child goes to school; the school's responsibility is to teach math.[/quote] Ahem, pre pandemic, it was the parent's responsibility to make sure the math got learned. If your child never got a dud math teacher before, count yourself lucky. There was no time to wail that the teacher did a poor job and now my kid is struggling. You do what you have to to give them the math foundation they need to progress. [/quote]
