I am very happy APS is making parents essentially be okay with no distancing if they choose in-person. I am very worried about the contingency planning they are doing. I guess it's not a given that we will be back 5 FULL (not shifts) days next fall. We cannot accept anything short of 5 FULL Days - Say NO to shift school Mary. More important than ever now.
Huh? It’s either 5 days in person or 5 days virtual. That’s it. I work for APS and those are the two choices for fall.
Then what’s the contingency planning about?
They sent an update today. Based on the number of people responding they plan to send kids back, distancing will not be possible. No contingency plan. Originally they said they’d have a 3 foot distancing contingency plan. So they’re being transparent and giving people longer to choose their option.
