If Communism was so successful I would expect there to be growth besides the PRC, Vietnam, Lao, and Cuba. Outside of that I just see a bunch of naval gazing old left over hippies and young, incredibly ignorant idealists.
This is exactly why it's acceptable to post Communist memes and not Nazi ones There is a general understanding that people who post the hammer and sickle, wear Che Guevara t-shirt, etc. are misguided, naive young people who use it to mean "hey, maybe the 1% shouldn't own everything," but are not actually advocating for the establishment of a totalitarian regime, while there is also a general understanding that people who post swastikas mean "I am literally advocating for the establishment of a fascist state that will actively pursue genocide." It's exactly the same reason why we ignore Zoomer "I hate my life" memes but take "I am going to kill myself" seriously. Context matters. The fact is that despite what Fox News has told you, there is absolutely no serious, organized movement to seize the means of production, whereas there definitely is a serious movement to establish the US as a white ethnostate.
