Exactly. The drop out rates are upwards of 90%. And even if you successfully transfer to a decent four-year university, you're going to have few friends and feel like a dumb*** because the rigor at CCs is a joke.

If you're that hard up to save some money, just make sure your kid loads up on AP courses and dual enrollment during 11th and 12th grade. Every somewhat smart kid these days finishes high school with a year of college credits.[/quote]
