Think about how those two different lessons might effect the outcomes in life for the kids.

One assumes racial motivations where none are evident.  One one lead them to assume they are being targeted even in totally innocent interactions.

The other might let a traffic stop just be a traffic stop.

You keep saying that, but the events of the last few years, say otherwise.

This man did not want to become the next George Floyd, Anthony McClain, Walter Scott, and many more.  The fact is that as a black man, this individual was fearful for his life, fearful of being shot just for a traffic stop.  And the only thing he was asking was to be told what the traffic stop was.

This is clearly a lesson for police officers of what NOT to do.[/quote]
