I did like it but definitely darker. My fav was first one. It had most of characters and then they kind of keep disappearing. I really did like a presence of Matriarch of the family, the Grandma Shtisel, and also her friend at the home.  I miss that generation in the series. I wish they left someone to go on, or introduce a new older person .. perhaps a parent of one of the spouses of the Shtisel adult children.[/quote]
