Because one of the leagues has to be the A team. There are MLS clubs who's B teams play in ECNL and that expectation would have to continue with SYC or they would lose their slot.

My thinking is that on the boys side SYC's top team would play MLS and McLean's ECNL.  On the girls side McLean would play ECNL and SYC in CCL.[/quote]

Exactly... what is the point? If SYC girls want ECNL then they should just go to an ECNL team! If you are in Springfield there are 2 closer than McLean. You can go to BRYC or VDA. If you have a girls 2009-2006 go to VDA. If you have a 2005 or 2004 go to McLean as long as you don't mind being on a 30 girl roster. Not sure BRYC is any better than SYC. Their last good team is leaving[/quote]
