[/quote] If one of my staff gave me enough notice that they were going to take the day off to get their shot and was planning to take an additional two days off to recover and relax, I would say "thanks for letting me know, I hope it goes well, and enjoy your time off, you deserve it!" My team works hard, and as long as they give me some notice so that I can reschedule anything that might be affected, I'm fine with taking their time off. They earned it, it's part of their benefits package, who am I to say no or try to get them to "compromise". [/quote]
