To the OP- I recognize the app you're on, it's Bumble. I've been on and off there for a while. Sure, there are some guys just looking for sex, but some want a genuine connection. I think that you need to work on your self esteem, that's no way to start a chat with someone. You want to project confidence and self acceptance. For every 10-15 guys you match with, you'll probably meet 1-2. That's just the way it is. Give them the benefit of the doubt, look at what their profile says they're looking for (something casual, not sure, relationship, marriage) and make sure that your bio also honestly reflects what you want. Don't be afraid to ask them what they're looking for, it's a really common question. FWIW, (some) men see women as curvy (at least that's how they always describe me), not chubby or fat or any other pejorative term. I get compliments on my curves a lot. [/quote]
