It sounds like your kid's full AAP class + gen ed push ins is around 28-29 kids, and it sounds likely that there will be at most 13 kids and probably a lot fewer in class with your kid. My kids have always been in classes with about 28-30 kids. Last year, my gen ed kid had a classroom of 28 kids, with around 34 total in gen ed advanced math. My AAP kid was in a 29 person class stuffed into a trailer. There are many large classes in FCPS, and they are taking that into account with their hybrid plans. It is likely that most classrooms can accommodate at least 16 kids while still maintaining 6' social distancing. OP, you should keep your kid home. You're so consumed with fear about being exposed to covid that you're making a lot of irrational arguments. For the sake of your own mental health, keep your kid home. [/quote]
