It's pretty obvious that PP is a Champion of Misinformation because they want to shut down competing viewpoints. The 'stay home' advocates have been putting forth weaker, more strained, more incoherent arguments each day. And it is beyond clownish to represent this as a partisan issue. It IS a partisan issue.  Openfcps is a GOP initiative.  Trump and the GOP were primary movers of the open schools push and even squashed research that showed it was unsafe.  I want to schools to stay virtual until they can be opened safely - meaning mainly that teachers have been vaccinated and numbers are going down.

It is you who have no credibility.  The GOP in Fairfax literally recruited people to come on this board and push exactly the talking points and misinformation that you are pushing.[/quote]

So Joe Biden who wants K-8 open ASAP is a GOP operative? I had no idea. Govenor Northam who has directed schools to prepare to open is a GOP operative? Who new?! Chap Petersen, Democratic state senator from Fairfax City, who made an impassioned speech on the state senate floor yesterday about the need for students to be allowed to attend school in person is suddenly a GOP operative? The links that OP included in the letter from such places as the New York Times, NPR, and the NIH - I had no idea those were widely recognized as mouthpieces of the GOP![/quote]

You are conflating initiatives to FUND the SAFE opening of schools and SUPPORT the SAFE opening of schools with a partisan push to open schools right now regardless of safety (and a big part of the openfcps campaign is the targeted denigration of democratic school board members, especially Frisch and Omeish, for all too obvious reasons, which calls into question whether openfcps is really even about opening fcps). If it's so partisan to denigrate SB members, then why is the NAACP's education chair saying basically the same things about how poorly run school board meetings are as the pro-open people?
