I had to go to the ER twice for IV fluids because I started going into shock (I didn't know it, being 23, but weird things like my fingers/hands uncontrollably curling inward and quite literally feeling like I was going to die seemed to indicate something bad). About 7-8 days in I got suppository antiemetics that allowed me to start keeping down Gatorade. I think on Day 11 I was able to drive home...some 20lbs lighter. It took a few weeks to fully recover.[/quote]
