It wasn't until the day of when things got out of hand that she started to try to pull in the Guard (but they weren't ready because they hadn't been appropriately requested) and MPD.

Agree that when MPD did arrive, they were incredibly brave and prevented the Capitol from completely falling.

But she -- like Sund, the Sergeants at Arms, and others, was part of a royal screw-up.   [b] You would think that as a Black woman she would have been more on guard, but she wasn't. [/b][/quote]
