DH’s family is like this - everything is bargaining, much like small children (they are from the US, before anyone asks. Their house was very dog-eat-dog growing up. It is exhausting and extremely petty, but that is how some people operate. At least your DC knows now what to expect - and knows to keep their name on the list for a single! [/quote]
