As a woman over 40 with longer hair, I have been advised to wear it up for work, [b]by female coworkers.[/b] So in a low bun, or even in a ponytail, or a french braid (which I think is dated.) Basically, pulled back.

Her hair just looks too damaged to wear long like that constantly. It gets harder for me to keep healthy long hair as I age, but I would think she would have enough money to get a better long cut or treatments.

I’ve had two older female bosses, who were from different generations (both newly retired). One told me men don’t take us seriously unless we wear skirts. Another told me men don’t take us seriously unless we wear blazers. Loeffler is crazy, but her hair is neat and groomed and appropriate. [/quote]
