While it's nice that your DH apologized, that's empty without any actions to back it up. I can't believe you are keeping this dog that he refuses to properly care for. Why should you be driving it to daycare? I would be massively resentful of the life disruption and expense he foisted on me with zero discussion. The dog gets re-homed unless he's going to actually take on the bulk of the care and you both should be going to marriage counseling.
I’m only doing it because it’s LITERALLY 2 minutes from my house and I don’t work and I’m also trying to make a point that this dog needs exercise to make her bearable at home. They even have a pickup/drop off service if needed. Money is a non issue for us btw. Trust me I’ve gone the full circle of resentment and anger towards my DH but my mom reminded me that my own father pulled the same crap with her numerous times and she just dealt with it. Married 60 yrs and other than that my dad was a great husband. On the bright side I know 100% he will never do this again!
Money is an object for me .Can you recommend board and train facialities?
