Update! Dropped off DD(devil dog) to the doggie daycare today! Omg that place was packed with beautiful dogs. From huge shepherds to Great Danes to pit bulls! They put my puppy right in her place when she tried jumping on them. Haha. Actually I had to leave because I was too nervous watching all these dogs playing with her. Im so excited to see how she acts tonight after finally being able to release all her crazy energy. DH literally doesn’t give her any exercise, walks, parks etc.. A turtle wouldve been the perfect pet for him.
I hate to ask, but what type of doggy daycare would mix grown dogs and puppies?
A smart daycare! She’s already a 65lb aggressive HYPERACTIVE puppy who needs to be taught manners by adult dogs. They put her in her place real quick and she started behaving appropriately. Especially by the pit bull she tried pouncing on. She could easily injure other puppies that were not her size. Btw the person in charge told me she is highly active even for a puppy and that hopefully she will settle down once she gets spayed next month. I wouldn’t be surprised if this doggie daycare tells me she is no longer welcome because she’s too much. Figures my DH would get a hyperactive dog! I knew she was a lot more hyper than the average dog because I’ve never seen dog act like this before. Guarantee this is why her original owner gave her up after just a few weeks! This was the last type of dog my DH needed for his lifestyle.
On day one of a solution you're already focusing on all the negatives about your puppy and the daycare. The thing you most need to do to help your dog is shift your attitude about it.
