[/quote] Yes, also my husband’s name. It particularly gets pronounced DAHN-ah by Spanish speakers, which makes sense. I’ve never met someone who actually pronounced it that way on purpose, but if I did I’d assume it was because their family spoke Spanish/French/Italian. I wouldn’t think it was pretentious. [/quote]
