I would describe a picky eater as one who eats a handful of foods. Where you can make a list of foods that the kid will eat. But those lists are so varied. I've known picky eaters whose handful of food includes olives, or goat cheese, or raw spinach leaves, or canned tuna. There are no consistencies between what picky eaters will eat. So, if her kid eats 5 foods and two of them are turkey and apple pie, she has a picky eater. [/quote]
