I would NOT be calling, texting, emailing, asking my sibling to speak with her, or anything else. I would just drop the rope. WHEN your mother calls again (and she will) then you can be pleasant. But fairly quickly (either that conversation or the very next one, you should tell her you did not appreciate her reaction and will not entertain that kind of nonsense. AND if she is always doing this - going off in a huff when she disagrees with something, then I'd cease making any overtures at all. But I'm hoping this is the first time she's been so unreasonable![/quote]
