Subaru
Subaru because their style only changes incrementally
I have had more issues with my 2010 Forester even though the mileage was pretty low. Every year when we need to get it inspected we shelled out another $1,000 or more. Then the AC broke, and that was it for this car.
I agree with this. We’ve had four Subarus and they are NOT built to last. They begin to fall apart after 3-4 years.. interior first then mechanical stuff. Here are some examples: the sun shade not staying in up position; air bag light broken; noisy sun roof shade; engine burning oil/blue smoke from exhaust pipe; carburetor malfunction and making hissing sounds. We trade in cars every 3-4 years so we don’t have to deal with it for long. But we will be looking at another make like Honda when we retire.
Same experience here. Own a 2005, 2015 and 2017 Foresters. The latter two have been in the shop more than the 2005 by far. Fit and finish inside is crap. Will be looking for a new brand of car for the next one
