Right.  Stop embarassing yourselves by confirming everybody's worst suspicions about area ECNL boys clubs (Arlington and VDA excepted).  A number of other boys teams outside ECNL are already ranked higher than you in YSR pretty consistently.  Go prove you are better instead of staying in a walled garden with frequent flyer miles piling up while you tell each other how great your kids are relative to teams outside the wall.  Please. Huh?  No-one can predict the future. Last year the winners were Alexandria (beating Rush), SOCA (beating Arlington), Beach (beating Arlington), Arlington (beating Herndon), and SOCA (beating Legacy).  So clearly Arlington didn't even come close to a sweep last year and I doubt they will this year either.

Those are the same Arlington ECNL teams which put up a W5L0D1 GF23 GA7 GD16 record against you a few weeks ago (which of course is why you so desperately hoped to wriggle out of playing them again this weekend).  And you think you are too good for this competition?  What a joke.  You don't enter because not only would you not win a single final - you wouldn't even qualify for a single final.  In fact you probably woudn't even qualify for a single semi-final.  McLean - who at least has the courage to enter its ECNL teams - didn't.

And you try to claim that you are "too good" for the state cup. Do you manage to get your parents to believe that?  You don't enter because it just wouldn't be fair to the other teams?  What utter BS.  You don't enter because you know you'd lose.  And not just to Arlington.  You would lose to Skyline, to Legacy, to Alexandria, to Beach, and probably to a bunch of other teams as well.

Still - you keep on telling everyone you're too good for that competition while actual good teams compete in it.  Contemptible is the word that springs to my mind.
