Shutting down large gatherings is not a social policy ANYONE wants to see. It is solely a public health emergency measure. Propping up suffering families is something I'd like to see a little more as far as general safety nets, but the need for help (and help to businesses) is far beyond what would be normally necessary or reasonable, as well. [/quote] The government propping up "families and businesses that are suffering financially" absolutely sounds like a social policy. I'd be happy to support that as a policy, but I don't think children's education should be held hostage until and unless that passes. [/quote]
