Bowser is anti-transparency in everything she does. So the default position here has to be that they’re hiding something and not acting in the best interests of the school.

So I support the parents and students who are taking a stand. I hope this event—given the high profile of the school and the connectedness of the parents—is the thing that finally drives change in how the school system is run, starting with ending mayoral control.

Also, remember to vote—Bowser is very close to losing majority support on the Council. Figure out which two of the 24(!) candidates are most likely to hold her accountable and push for change.
