Most 30 year olds aren't still living at home with their parents and have zero life experience. That part was far fetched and I couldn't get past it. I just didn't find the premise amusing with such old "kids" even though I like all the actors and wanted to like the show.[/quote]

Spoiler Alert - but if you watch far enough, you'll learn that David owned an art gallery in New York and had his own apartment there, which the parents funded (in fact Moira discloses at one point that she and Johnny were the ones buying all the art at his gallery!).  And Alexa basically travelled the world with the young jet set, again, funded by the parents.  So when they lost everything, the kids lost their lavish lifestyles as well and ended up with their parents at the motel.  [/quote]
