Like what most here have already said...you get the man with lots of earning potential in college. Every woman I know who is married to a wealthy man met their husbands (doctor or lawyer) in college. Most are SAHMs except one is a doctor just like her husband. All got married fairly young..around 25 yrs old. That said I would never give up being single in my 20s.. having a blast going out, traveling the world whether for work or with friends, partying, dating, etc. I couldn't imagine being a 25 yr old girlfriend waiting around for my boyfriend to propose to me.
My nephew married his doctor at 25. Smart kid. He likes smart women. She’s gorgeous and smart. You people are so sexist and dated it is so disturbing in 2020.
You made my point above. Your nephew married his wife at 25. I'm not saying that these women who marry young aren't smart but I personally wouldn't trade it for the adventures and fun to be had in your 20s. After college, I worked hard to establish myself in my career while at the same time traveled the world with friends and had amazing experiences I wouldn't have been able to do with a husband at home. I know everyone has different perspectives but for me I preferred having a decade or so of being single and free after college and then settling down in my 30s.
