Right?? I’m the PP. 7 is really young. Wouldn’t you miss your 7 year old after 4 days? Even if you didn’t, wouldn’t you want your 7 yo to feel missed and like you are excited to see him?

Of course, but if your boss is a university president or a publisher, you can’t exactly call them back in 5. Or maybe the mom was pooping. Have you ever pooped? My 7yo knows she is beloved and missed and cherished. She is secure in that; we have a relationship solid enough that if I am on the phone with Nana who has dementia, she can say hi to her brother and knows I’ll be out in a minute. Clearly, your relationships are too fragile for poop windows.[/quote]
