I agree.  I think there are people who truly NEED hybrid learning.  Those are special need kids, kids with abusive family, kids who need food, young kids whose parents are forced back to the workplace and have no alternative childcare options, kids who do not have the focus to take proper instructions in DL.  For most other families, DL is a strain but it is not the end of the world.  I think hybrid option parents are imagining something a lot rosier and a lot more organized, and I am not sure if it's possible.  We are in a pandemic and everyone has to shoulder a load of this if we want to make it through.  We really cannot compare ourselves and system with other countries, because we are very different in many ways (we can start a new post talking about this!).  [/quote]
