Their families would like them to learn without their being forced into beginning language classes in 7th grade.

DC families commonly chose BASIS over DCI for many reasons.  Appropriate or ambitious language instruction/learning isn't one of them.  I can't see that changing under any HOS, not for a long time anyway.[/quote]
