Curfews need to be before sunset. That is how the psychology of these things works. It is a lot easier to set the control features of a curfew up during the day and people get tired after dark. If we were in Sweden and it was light until midnight, you could successfully set the curfew up for midnight. What is VERY hard is imposing the curfew after the madness starts.

Look, last night was a win for everybody . Protestors get to say that they defied curfew. Authorities get to say that for the first time there was no looting. Both sides get to pat themselves on the back for there being no violence. I am not sure why we are looking that gift horse in the mouth. But we are so determined to make a Trump story about this, the city has opted to shoot itself in the foot. For once I wish that DC would do what was best for DC.[/quote]
