I would dye my daughter’s hair without talking to my DH. Realistically I would probably say something beforehand because we see each other all the time and we talk about our lives, but if it happened on a weekend when he was away or super busy with work and we just didn’t have time to check in, it would be a non-issue. Personally, I think it’s nice that this dad is taking ownership of this project and doing something fun with his daughter! I have no idea “what road” you think this leads to, but these are the bonding experiences kids need with both parents to set up a solid relationship foundation before the teen years. Good job dad!
