Crazy idea, but why don’t we let the guy get started and actually see what he does before deciding whether he’s doing a good job or not?
That is what rational people would do, but some can't help but let their racist flags fly.
Not the PP, but is it not rational to be concerned that, given his prior role, he will be focused on diversity topics to the detriment of other topics such as curriculum? That is rational thinking, not racism. Though of course calling someone a racist is always a great way to shut down meaningful discourse, so nice job there.
+1
Alternatively, one could consider his full professional history and be concerned that he might actually have a broad focus that includes curriculum as well as achievement gaps and diversity. That would actually incorporate more of APS' supposed values than has been focused on in the past, 'cause, in case you are unaware, "diversity" is supposed to be one of our values. And curriculum and budgets and racist attitudes and "what's best for my kid regardless of anyone else" attitudes and actions have always taken priority to the detriment of diversity in Arlington.
